Zado Vester Watson (also known as Lado Vester Watson on census records and other records) was born December 24, 188. He lived in Ellendale and was married to Pearl Ann Brown (who had several names too). The marriage license can be found in Alexander County in Book 6 Page 322. On his World War I Draft Card the occupation was listed as being self-employed farmer. Zado passed away at 80 years old on January 28, 1962 (found at Alexander County in Book 48 Page 463). He had a heart condition. He is buried at Mt. Herman Church Cementary in Alexander County North Carolina.
He was the son to Andrew J. Watson and Genela Alice Rogers (aka Alice Rogers).
Pearl Ann Brown was known by several other spellings (Pearlie Ann, Pearl Anne). Pearl was born May 16, 1892. She was the daughter of James Brown and Deany Brown (names from death certificate). Pearl passed away March 24, 1936 when she was only 43 years old. She struggled with some type of illness for 4 years. She is buried at Mt. Herman Baptist Church.

Zado had 3 sons and 2 daughters that I know of; Ned, James, Frank, Millie and May.
